Steve Janisch is the Head PGA Class A Teaching Professional of Gilroy Golf Course. Steve has been instructing students of all skill levels for over 35 years. His approach is rooted in the fundamentals of the golf swing and assisting students to improve their short game to help lower their scores. Steve caddied on the PGA tour for George Archer, winner of the 1969 Masters as well as 13 regular PGA tour wins and 19 Champions Tour wins. Steve was tutored by George himself on how to play the game and teach the game to others. Steve is a certified club fitter having won the Northern California PGA club fitter of the year award in 1997. He was nominated for the 1998 Northern California PGA Junior golf leader and is a certified PGA Hope instructor which helps introduce golf to our veterans. Steve lives in Gilroy with his wife Sandy. Junior Golf Lessons
Wouldn’t you like to have your junior golfer properly learn the fundamentals of golf and meet new friends and develop social skills?
PGA Professional Steve Janisch, a 35 year member of the PGA has created the perfect program for your junior.
The Gilroy Junior Summer Golf Academy
Classes start June 21st and 22nd and will end on July 27th.
Classes meet on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 10 AM to 11AM at Gilroy Golf Course.
In total, your student gets 12 one hour golf lessons focusing on all the fundamentals of the game.
Cost of the class is $300 per student and is open to 8-15 year olds.
Class is limited to 12 students.
